What you will do:
Research and optimize SC processes — from acceptance to kitting, packaging, and shipment;
Develop a system of operational efficiency metrics: productivity, SLA, workload, losses, cost, returns;
Create dashboards and analytical data marts in Power BI, Grafana, and Datalens — so that the business sees the warehouse status in real-time and can manage numbers, not feelings;
Write SQL queries to millions of rows of data from Oracle, Vertica, Hive, ClickHouse;
Use Python not only for analysis but also for automating analytical calculations and delivering data to users (scheduler, API, integrations);
Work with Airflow — design pipelines that update reporting and calculations without manual intervention;
Conduct analytical investigations: find the causes of discrepancies, identify patterns, test hypotheses;
Document calculation methodologies and improve data quality together with platform and system analytics teams (for senior);
Lead initiatives: develop new approaches to measuring efficiency, launch automation, help develop analytical culture in the SC.
What we expect:
3+ years of experience in operations analytics, logistics, e-commerce, or retail;
Excellent SQL skills — complex queries, CTE, window functions, optimization for large volumes;
Ability to work in Power BI, Grafana, or Datalens — build clear, visually clean reports with a focus on meaning;
Knowledge of Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, plotly) and its application for analytics and automation;
Understanding of DWH and ETL processes, experience with Airflow or similar tools;
Think like a product analyst — don't wait for tasks, but look for patterns yourself, propose solutions, calculate the impact;
Willingness to interact with operations directors and managers, argue conclusions, and achieve implementation.
