Product Analyst
We are looking for a Product Analyst for Aviasales OTA (ticket sales under the Aviasales brand): it handles everything related to purchasing airline tickets, ancillary services, and post-sales support. We strive to create a product that is equally convenient for both seasoned travelers and inexperienced users.
Analysts in this area (you will not be the only analyst in Aviasales OTA) help teams work on each of the stages — filling in passenger data, selecting and purchasing services (extra baggage, insurance, seats and onboard meals, pet transportation, etc.), order payment, post-sales experience, and much more interesting stuff.
What you'll do
- help the team formulate and test hypotheses (primarily via A/B tests) at all stages of the funnel (booking flow, purchase of ancillary services, etc.);
- develop convenient dashboards and monitors for product metrics;
- select metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of new product features;
- identify bottlenecks and growth points of the product, analyze what works poorly and why;
- evaluate and model the economics of ticket and ancillary service sales.
What we expect from you
- 5+ years of experience in product analytics (yes, we want to strengthen the team with a fairly experienced analyst);
- desire to develop and improve one of the best products in the travel market;
- understanding of key product metrics, ability to select metrics for solving product problems;
- advanced SQL proficiency (complex queries, window functions);
- excellent understanding of probability theory and mathematical statistics for further application in A/B testing;
- ability to process data and write code in Python;
- ability to clearly and simply visualize complex data;
- interest in solving problems using ML.
How we work
- anywhere in the world: not tied to location, we pay in dollars, we love to travel;
- no bureaucracy: convenient processes for a healthy person, horizontal and open communication, quick discussion of ideas and decision-making;
- we compensate: private health insurance, psychotherapy or foreign languages, sports activities, and sick leave;
- on a paradise island: you can work in Phuket with an ocean view.
