Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js / TypeScript) 🚀 - AdTech

🛠 What you will do:

• develop a microservice architecture of an advertising platform under high load; • design and implement backend services on Node.js / TypeScript; • work with large streams of events and data, ensure system reliability and performance; • design data schemas, indexes, and optimize queries; • work with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, and Kafka; • ensure service fault tolerance: retries, idempotency, data integrity, correct error handling; • participate in architectural and product decisions, bring functionality to stable production.

✅ What is important:

• commercial experience in Node.js / TypeScript development for 6+ years; • solid understanding of asynchronicity, network protocols, queues, and caching mechanisms; • experience with PostgreSQL, understanding of DB design and query optimization, including EXPLAIN ANALYZE; • understanding of principles for building scalable and fault-tolerant systems; • experience with OLTP and OLAP workloads, large data volumes; • independence, responsibility for results, and ability to make engineering decisions.

➕ Will be a plus:

• experience with ClickHouse and analytical DBMS; • knowledge of the adtech ecosystem: DSP, SSP, publishers, ad networks; • experience with OpenRTB, VAST, and ad system integrations; • understanding of observability, canary releases, and safe deployment practices.

💻 Technology Stack: Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Kafka.
