2D UI/UX Artist

We are inviting to the project 2D UI/UX Artist

We are looking for a 2D UI/UX artist to create the lobby, game screens, and interface for various game modes in a cartoonish, bold, absurd style.

The project is a 2D arena action game with humor, weapons, and different modes. Visual mood: bright, readable, cartoonish, with character, without sterile mobile templated UI.

What needs to be done:

1. Starting lobby / match preparation screen: a full lobby UI needs to be drawn.
2. In-game screen UI: match timer, ammo, health, etc.
3. Various screens: menu, loading, match end, pause, etc.

Requirements:

• Experience in creating UI for games, preferably 2D / mobile / web / casual action.
• Ability to create not just pretty pictures, but functional game interfaces: readable, logical, user-friendly.
• Understanding of interface states: hover / selected / locked / disabled / purchased / error / active / inactive.
• Ability to work in a unified visual style and develop it across different screens.
• Good sense of composition, color, contrast, and information hierarchy.
• Experience in preparing assets for Unity: slicing, exporting, transparent PNGs, separate elements, clear file names.
• Ability to prepare a UI-kit: buttons, panels, icons, pop-ups, notifications, bars, tables.
• Willingness to work hands-on: draw unique elements for a specific game.

Not encouraged:

• AI generation without post-processing
• ready-made UI-kits
• purchased assets;
• templated elements from stock sites;
• third-party icons, buttons, panels, backgrounds;
• elements whose rights cannot be transferred to the project.

We need a completely original, hand-created visual style that can be legally used in a commercial game.

Will be a big plus:

• Experience with Unity UI.
• Experience in cartoonish / comic / grotesque stylistics.

This is a project-based job. Russia and Belarus only.
