At Finyard, pioneering innovative and contemporary software solutions tailored for the FinTech sector has been our core focus since our establishment in 2018.
Tasks: writing production code, building internal tooling, and automating operational processes that support the business.
Core stack: AWS + Python + Snowflake.
What you will be doing:
- Building ETL/ELT pipelines from internal services and third-party APIs into the data warehouse
- Automating regular operational tasks and reconciliations, developing internal tools around them
- Working with the AWS, Python, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Docker, and CI/CD stack
- Implementing observability in pipelines: monitoring, alerts, data quality and freshness control, SLA
- Participating in ad-hoc data investigations when they unblock the business
What we are looking for:
- Strong Python: you have deployed production pipelines and services with it, and it's readily available when you need to dig into data
- Strong SQL: complex queries are not intimidating, optimizing business logic for performance is a routine task. Window functions, CTEs, query planner are your native territory
- Production experience with OLTP and OLAP systems, understanding columnar storage formats
- Solid understanding of data modeling techniques and their trade-offs
