EcoScience Energy Media is looking for a freelance producer to help create the pilot season of The Energy Build, our new B2B podcast focused on the global energy industry.
Project scope:
- 1 short podcast trailer
- 3 full episodes of approximately 12–18 minutes each
Pilot topics:
- AI, data centres and electricity demand
- Sodium-ion battery technology
- Power grids and energy infrastructure
You will be responsible for:
- Researching each topic using reliable sources
- Fact-checking key claims and figures
- Writing professional English-language scripts
- Producing premium AI voice narration using a commercially licensed tool
- Audio editing and mastering
- Creating a short intro/outro using commercially licensed audio assets
- Delivering final WAV and MP3 files
- Preparing episode titles, descriptions and show notes
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly autonomous
- Comfortable researching technical subjects
- Strong in English writing
- Experienced with podcast production and audio editing
- Familiar with AI voice tools
- Able to deliver clean, professional B2B content
🌍 Remote — open to freelancers worldwide
💰 Maximum total budget: 500$
📅 Target timeline: approximately 4 weeks
💼 Fixed-price pilot project with milestone-based payments
Payment structure:
- Milestone 1 — Episode 1 research + full script: 100$
- Milestone 2 — Final Episode 1 production: 150$
- Milestone 3 — Final Episode 2: 100$
- Milestone 4 — Episode 3 + trailer + final files: 150$
Two reasonable revision rounds per milestone are included.
