QA Automation Engineer (Java) - WITH EXPERIENCE IN INSURANCE OR ON insurance projects

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer for the insurance products development team. The main focus is on API testing automation, expanding test coverage, and ensuring the quality of backend services.

🧠 What we expect:

— understanding of software testing and quality assurance processes; — understanding of the product development lifecycle; — experience in analyzing requirements and test cases, identifying scenarios for automation; — practical experience in test automation; — strong knowledge of API automation (UI experience will be a plus); — strong Java knowledge (OOP, Collections Framework, Stream API, Exceptions); — experience with RestAssured and JUnit; — knowledge of relational databases, understanding data structures, and writing SQL queries; — experience with Maven or Gradle.

🔧 What you will be doing:

— developing and maintaining autotests; — automating API testing; — analyzing requirements and test documentation; — participating in product quality assurance; — interacting with development and testing teams; — developing test infrastructure and automation processes.

➕ Will be a plus:

— experience in setting up and using CI/CD; — experience with Jira, Confluence, TestOps; — understanding of insurance systems specifics; — experience with Kafka/Kowl (searching and analyzing messages in topics); — basic Kubernetes skills (viewing logs, diagnosing services).
