Full-stack Python/Django Developer

Hello! We are ivelum, a product development company since 2003, working on large software projects. We offer flexible working hours for all employees and well-established processes with Minimum Bureaucracy (tm).

We have several teams at ivelum, each working on its own project. The technology stack and approaches used are similar across them. Currently, we have open positions for Python / full-stack developers in several teams and projects.

Core technologies: latest versions of Python and Django, React.js, GraphQL, Docker, AWS. All our projects are deeply automated, including the deployment of both production infrastructure and local development environments. We actively use automated testing, linters, and code reviews.

About you:

We expect you to have several years of experience in web development, be ready to work on both backend and frontend, and be comfortable with the infrastructure side. Knowing all the technologies in our stack is not mandatory, but having experience with Python, JavaScript, and Linux will definitely be useful.

We strongly encourage creativity, independence, and open discussions. Therefore, in addition to technical skills, we expect you to be team-oriented, willing to explore different solutions to problems, discuss them with colleagues, design, make decisions, and implement them.

Our team is Russian-speaking, but the products we work on have English interfaces and are designed for an international audience. We also actively communicate with our partners from the USA. Therefore, Russian is mandatory, and for English, an Intermediate level is sufficient with a willingness to improve (we have established corporate English training).

Conditions:

• Remote work, flexible schedule, full-time employment. Part-time work is not considered;
• Corporate Macbook or financial compensation for purchasing your own equipment;
• English courses with a professional native-speaking instructor.
