Senior Backend JavaScript Developer

We are looking for a Senior Backend JavaScript Developer to join the DCA_csm team. Your responsibilities will include developing production-grade backend services and SaaS applications in a microservices architecture, participating in system design, and being responsible for the full development cycle — from design to production launch and further improvement.

Stack: • Node.js, JavaScript • MongoDB • Redis, including Redis Streams • Kubernetes • Snowflake • Additional SQL and NoSQL databases

Responsibilities: • Developing functionality from design to production deployment. • Creating scalable, reliable, and performant backend services. • Participating in system design and architectural planning. • Working with asynchronous and message-driven components on Redis Streams. • Debugging and optimizing data stream processing. • Writing high-quality, maintainable code and tests. • Participating in code reviews. • Collaborating with the team and representatives of other departments.

Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in software engineering. • 3+ years of backend development experience in JavaScript/Node.js. • Experience in creating and supporting SaaS applications and production backend services. • Practical experience with microservices architecture. • Good knowledge of MongoDB and Redis. • Experience with Redis Streams or similar pub/sub and stream-processing technologies. • Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized deployment processes. • Understanding of system design, APIs, data modeling, scalability, performance, and reliability. • Good written and spoken English. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Will be a plus: • Experience with Snowflake and data pipelines/analytics. • Experience with AWS. • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other NoSQL technologies. • Experience with observability tools: logging, metrics, tracing. • Experience in incident response.
