Business Analyst

Title: Business Analyst - Location London Location: London

As a Business Analyst, you would be helping companies raise capital efficiently by designing trading strategies and creating securities that will be sold to investors. You would be involved in every phase of the deal process, from the initial research and pitching through to final implementation of the structure, working alongside senior members of the sales team and in close collaboration with clients. You would be responsible for preparing pitch materials, showing how the solution works in practice for clients. You would also be involved in the execution of the deal, coordinating with the structurers and legal team regarding the issuance of securities. The role will also involve some analytical support to business development activities.

• Gathering and analysing relevant data

• Preparing and delivering client presentations in a clear and compelling manner

• Supporting legal and structuring teams with key information about the transaction

• Assisting with business development and firm-building activities

• Playing a Key Role for internal Sales activities, like, KPI Controlling, Sales Process development and implementation of those

• Bachelor’s degree in a finance-related field or equivalent

• Relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, auditing, professional services or equivalent

• Knowledge of and demonstrated interest in corporate finance, business strategy and financial markets

• Cash flow modelling and accounting knowledge an advantage

• Analytical skills and problem solving ability

• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German; any other language an advantage

• Strong team spirit, entrepreneurial instincts and creative mindset

• Ability to convert output from brainstorming sessions into slides that are easy to understand by the audience (client or internal cross function stakeholders)

• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
