We are the Checkout mobile development team, responsible for the user journey from order creation to receipt: cart, successful payment, and order pages. We are looking for a professional Android developer ready to grow with us and make AliExpress better.
What we do:
- Develop the AliExpress app for 11 countries;
- Develop the Backend Driven UI framework Fusion;
- Strive to improve user experience.
What you will do in the Checkout team:
- Develop the Checkout domain;
- Develop new domain features in a cross-functional team;
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to set and achieve goals.
What we use:
- The new app is entirely written in Kotlin, but infrastructure frameworks in Java remain;
- We aim for all main app screens to be implemented using Backend Driven UI;
- For common parts of the Backend Driven UI engine, we use Kotlin Multiplatform.
We would be interested in talking to you if you have:
- Confirmed Android development experience, preferably in product companies;
- Solid knowledge of Kotlin;
- Experience with Kotlin Coroutines;
- Good understanding of architecture and system design.
Not required, but it would be great if you:
- Know how to intercept, analyze, and mock traffic (Charles, Proxyman);
- Have experience with iOS (at least basic);
- Have experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
