Senior Android Developer at VK Messenger

The messenger allows users to correspond, send video and audio messages, subscribe to channels, create their own, and more. Under the hood, we have a full-fledged SQLite database for storing messages and mechanisms for delayed sending, which allow using the product offline. A set of technologies for different scenarios is used for network communication: Short Poll, SSE, Web-Socket, Long Poll. The product has a lot of business logic; it's no longer a thin client but a full-fledged application with interesting technical challenges.
