We are looking for an Illustrator / Concept Artist for a post-Soviet noir extraction shooter. Illustrations for canon, visual novel mode, and promo art (Paid)
We are continuing work on the unusual 2D survival shooter "Post-Soviet" (alternative 2010s, the USSR did not collapse but rotted from within; abandoned research institutes, KGB, organized crime groups, psychological themes, and rust). Now, we need an Illustrator / Concept Artist to join our team, who will become the main visual voice of the narrative part of the project.
What you will be doing:
key art, key scenes, event illustrations, character portraits.
Key Art for Steam cover, GIFs, teasers, videos, and social media.
Important nuance (Main Requirement):
The project has a deep narrative foundation: our chief and lead game designer personally writes lore books.
No AI and neural networks. We need a living person with their own vision and style.
Deep immersion: The artist will need to personally read and thoroughly study the lore materials to accurately convey the atmosphere, world details, character personalities, and subtle nuances.
Canon: Your art will become the official canon of the project's universe.
Conditions:
The work is paid. The chief is ready to pay for quality illustrations. Format - piece-rate payment (fixed fee per art or stage).
Creative freedom within the setting: we are looking for someone who is genuinely drawn to the aesthetics of dirty realism, psychological themes, noir, and post-Soviet despair.
Remote work, flexible deadlines, direct communication with the developer on Telegram or Discord.

Portfolio with examples of high-quality illustrations (plot scenes, realism, work with light, and a dark atmosphere are especially valued).
