Data Engineer

Data Engineer | Belgrade, Serbia

Our product iGaming company is looking for a Data Engineer in Serbia to become part of our team.

Work format: office Project: Data warehouse for analytics and Data Science (not cloud). Main task in the position: writing ETL procedures, layers, marts, applying architectural approaches.

Other tasks:

🌸Development and support of data marts for analyzing provider efficiency, traffic management, and content portfolio. 🌸Building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes for the division's analytical products. 🌸Developing infrastructure for monitoring key provider metrics, including alerts and automatic data quality control. 🌸Support and development of analytical services for decision-making on scaling and optimization.

Mandatory knowledge and skills:

💦Data Engineer work experience 1–3 years. 💦Advanced Python level: experience in PySpark and Apache Airflow. 💦Deep SQL knowledge: ability to write and optimize complex queries, conduct reviews. 💦Understanding of ClickHouse and PostgreSQL DBMS operation, knowledge of their internal mechanisms and configurations. 💦Experience with big data: understanding of distributed storage systems (S3, HDFS), working with data formats Parquet, Avro; knowledge of data modeling methodologies. 💦Data integration from various sources: skills in obtaining and processing data via JDBC, REST API, Kafka, reading from file systems (JSON, Parquet, S3). 💦Experience in setting up pipelines in GitLab CI/CD, containerizing applications using Docker and orchestrating them in Kubernetes. 💦Setting up and using Grafana for visualizing metrics and monitoring system status. 💦Knowledge of DWH architectures, experience in designing data layers and ETL processes.
