QA Lead (Manual+Automation)
We are building a scalable B2B platform in the i-gaming and sports industry. Today, partners around the world trust it, and our focus is on making the product user-friendly and secure for business.
The company is licensed and operates in strict accordance with the legislation of the countries of presence.
To ensure that every feature release goes smoothly, we are expanding the QA team and looking for a QA Lead.
Tech Stack: Backend (Go, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, gRPC), Frontend (TypeScript, React, Playwright, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, Jaeger, E2E tests (Typescript, Playwright, Gitlab CI).
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and help the team estimate testing scope
- Create and update documentation: checklists, test cases, coverage matrices
- Perform manual testing: functional, regression, and integration
- Verify integrations between services: API, cache, queues
- Automate tests and integrate them into CI/CD
- Monitor quality metrics (Coverage, Defect Leakage, MTBF) and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with development teams: backend, frontend, DevOps — in close partnership
We expect you to have:
- At least 2 years of experience in testing web or backend systems
- Understanding of the development lifecycle and core testing methodologies
- Ability to write clear test cases and checklists, as well as bug reports that developers will appreciate
- Proficiency in SQL and ability to independently verify data in the database
- Confident API testing skills — REST/gRPC (Postman, Insomnia, Swagger)
- Willingness to automate tests in Go or TypeScript + Playwright
- At least 1 year of team leadership experience
It would be great if you have:
- Experience in setting up test infrastructure: test environments, stubs, mocks
- Experience with microservice architecture and components like Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ
- Knowledge of load testing tools: Locust, JMeter, or k6
- Ability to read logs and traces (Grafana, Sentry, Jaeger)
- Basic understanding of secure development and common vulnerabilities
