Data Scientist (Computer Vision)

🔥 A major metallurgical company is looking for a Data Scientist (Computer Vision)

The team is involved in implementing computer vision technologies in production: from automatic product quality control to creating AI solutions to improve the efficiency of production processes.

📌 What you will do:

• Develop and support systems for automatic defect detection in metal • Build and optimize pipelines for automating production processes • Research and implement modern approaches in the field of Computer Vision • Apply machine learning and data analysis methods to solve production tasks • Interact with technologists, production specialists, and product owners to implement AI solutions

📌 Who we are looking for:

• 1+ year of experience with Computer Vision • Practical experience in image detection and segmentation tasks • Proficient in Python and core ML and Data Science libraries • Experience with OpenCV • Experience in developing and training models on PyTorch • Understanding of classical computer vision algorithms • Knowledge of popular neural network architectures and the mathematical foundations of machine learning

📌 Will be an advantage:

• Experience in independent development of models, architectures, or algorithms

• Experience in implementing AI solutions in industry or manufacturing
