What you will be doing:
Your main task will be to help sellers make data-driven decisions:
- Research ad and organic search interactions (search blending), the impact of advertising on user experience
- Oversee OKRs for advertising revenue growth while maintaining user quality CM2/GMV
- Find optimal ad placements and test transitional monetization models — from CPM to CPA/tCPA (including hybrid schemes and attribution), with incremental effect assessment
- Conduct A/B tests of changes in advertising mechanics, including in collaboration with the search team (e.g., changing the logic of sponsored block display)
- Analyze the seller activation funnel for ads: find the 'aha-moment', onboarding bottlenecks, propose initiatives, and measure their impact on LTV and the share of active advertisers
What is important to us:
- 5+ years of experience in companies with a high level of analytical culture
- At least 1 year of experience leading an analytics team
- At least one of the following: experience in monetization / AdRev / ML / mathematical modeling (e.g., in operational or marketing analytics)
- Experience with product analytics tasks
- Deep skills in A/B testing and effect evaluation (e.g., building company-level methodology, implementing sensitivity enhancement methods or non-classical evaluation methods)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python, experience with orchestrators and BI tools
- People Management experience will be a plus
