MyCar is looking for a Data Engineer (Middle+/Senior)
Almaty, hybrid
We are looking for someone who knows how to build and develop data infrastructure, implement cutting-edge technologies, and work with a cross-functional team.
Stack: PostgreSQL, Kafka, ClickHouse, Airflow, Python.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the corporate data warehouse: design layers, schemas, tables, and views, optimize storage structure;
- Develop and maintain data marts for analytics;
- Design and develop data loading processes from various sources;
- Configure data transfer flows between systems: integrations, synchronization, error handling;
- Build dashboards, alerting, and monitoring;
- Ensure pipeline observability: data quality control, tracking delays and loading failures;
- Audit current solutions, identify growth areas;
- Gather and clarify data requirements with analysts and business stakeholders;
- Participate in data analysis: identify dependencies, build logical connections, prepare data for analytics.
We expect from you:
- 4+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer;
- Understand the principles of DWH construction (Kimball / Inmon, star schema, ETL/ELT);
- Experience in building master data systems;
- Ability to independently transform a vague business task into a data model and work plan.
Will be a plus:
- Responsible for the architecture of the entire warehouse or a large domain, not just individual pipelines;
- Treat data quality as a separate task: checks, SLAs, agreements with source owners;
- Experience with ML and Computer Vision.
