Tech Lead

We are looking for a Tech Lead for the HD-Maps team (creation of high-precision digital maps for wheeled robots and robotic vehicles).

We are considering candidates for a "growth path": starting with leadership in a specific technological track, and then moving on to managing the entire team and shaping the technological strategy of the direction.

Stage 1: CV&RND Track Leadership (first 2-3 quarters)

Stack: BigData + Data Engineering + ML

Task: build and optimize pipelines for working with large streams of raw data (LiDAR, cameras, GPS). From assessment and processing to feature extraction, model training, and auto-generation of HD map layers and other map artifacts.

Team: 5 people (focus strictly on maps).

Approach: Clear determination of processes, digitization with metrics, strict control of deadlines and results.

Stage 2: HD-Maps Technological Strategy Management

After successfully handing over the CV&RND track to a successor, you will take over the entire HD-maps team.

Stack: C++\Python + GEOAI + GIS + CV&RND + LiDAR Mapping + etc.

Key technological tasks:

• Stable HD-maps service for Core AD technology (autonomous driving technologies).
• Formation of a "digital horizon" from sensor streams, dynamic services, and V2X.
• Transition to a close-loop model: map updates in minutes/hours instead of days and weeks.
• Integration of maps with the Core AD team (autonomous driving technologies) on various platforms.
• Implementation of GEOAI to maximize map creation automation.
• Generation of on-board HD maps based on SD-graph.
• Conceptualization of RoboMaps - development of a unified map standard for all types of wheeled robots.
