We are looking for a strong system analyst for a large-scale and technologically advanced project — implementation of front- and middle-office solutions for the investment business.

About the project: • We are creating a product that allows working with a wide range of financial instruments: from simple (stocks, bonds, indices, currency pairs) to complex exotic ones (derivatives, structured notes). • The goal is to obtain a platform where financial instruments, deals with them can be quickly and flexibly configured, complex reporting can be generated, and risks can be managed. • You will participate in all stages of the project lifecycle: from requirement gathering to implementation support.

Responsibilities: • Gathering, analyzing, formalizing, documenting, and approving system requirements in your functional area. • Developing project documentation: technical specifications, regulations, and instructions. • Preparing functional testing schemes based on business and functional requirements, conducting functional testing. • Participating in system implementation and support processes (maintaining and updating requirements). • Analyzing proposals from bank divisions on technological changes, assessing timelines, resources, and further product support. • Independent interaction with the Client and Developers to find the best solutions for enhancements, bug fixes, and business testing organization. • Establishing project relationships with related IT areas, participating in system integrations, adhering to the bank's architectural principles and standards. • Participating in the development of project solutions: analyzing alternatives, developing selection criteria.

Our expectations (Hard skills): • Solid knowledge of SQL: simple queries, JOINs, table and view management, relationship setup, writing functions and procedures. • Experience with MSSQL. • Knowledge of data exchange formats JSON, XML, and query language XPATH. • Practical experience in gathering, describing business, functional, and non-functional requirements, writing technical specifications, and change management. • Understanding of enterprise application integration principles. • Practical experience in creating UML and BPMN diagrams. • Basic programming skills in any language. • Experience working with requirement documentation and task tracking systems.

Will be an advantage: • Expert level SQL: working with transactions, error handling, index management. Experience with PostgreSQL. • Solid knowledge of any programming language. • Practical experience in creating architectural diagrams. • Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket). • Experience with Systematica products (Radius, Modular).

Our expectations (Soft skills): • Practical experience in a SCRUM team, applying Agile principles in practice. • Ability to work in a team: ask for and offer help, build partnerships. • Experience in task planning, decomposition, dependency identification. • Experience gathering requirements from non-technical users, ability to handle objections and defend your position. • Willingness to immerse yourself in a new subject area (investment business) and continuously learn.

Will be an advantage: • Higher technical education (mathematics, physics, programming). • Experience in the financial sector (investment business).
