Backend Lead

I’m looking for a Backend Lead to join my engineering group.

Not looking for just a strong backend engineer. I’m looking for a leader who wants to build systems, scale engineering, drive backend strategy, and take real ownership in a fast-moving product environment.

What we’re building:

• a flagship product with 1M+ paying users
• a second product that already shows even stronger metrics
• an MVP factory designed for very fast product launches
• an internal CMS platform based on Directus
• AI-first development and agentic workflows across engineering

You’ll work closely with me, FE Lead, QA Lead, Product Managers, neighboring engineering teams, and lead a backend group of 4 engineers.

We work without “walls” between engineering, product, and business. A lot of autonomy, responsibility, and direct impact on how the engineering organization evolves.
