Hi! We are PREAX, an online work experience accelerator.
We help junior Frontend developers gain their much-desired first year of work experience and bridge the gap between employer expectations. We focus on developing not only hard skills but also soft skills, understanding of work processes, and everything that is truly required in IT companies.
We are looking for you if you:
- Are actively seeking an internship or practical training.
- Want to gain real work experience.
- Have faced a series of rejections without feedback and don't understand the reasons.
- Are limited in time and cannot work full-time.
What you will be doing:
- Collaboratively implementing real tasks in sprints (from simple to more complex).
- Creating full-fledged services and applications from scratch, assembling them piece by piece, as well as supporting and developing current projects.
- Working with legacy code: enhancing others' projects, analyzing, refactoring, and making necessary targeted edits to the existing codebase.
- Practicing work with deadlines and training time estimation for tasks.
- Training in real working conditions: incomplete technical specifications, clarifications from the "client," and new inputs.
- Regular code reviews: you will review the work of other participants, receive a lot of feedback on your work, and then perform debugging and refactoring.
What we require from you:
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS, and Git. It will be a plus if you are familiar with React, TypeScript, have worked with various state managers and bundlers.
- Willingness to dedicate at least 3 hours per week to practice, with the option to take breaks.
- Friendliness: a positive attitude and readiness to work in a team, maintaining healthy communication.
- Education and location do not matter.
