🚀 About the project

We are developing the infrastructure in two directions at once: — existing production in a PaaS cloud — new direction — bare-metal cluster (4 servers on Proxmox)

We are looking for an engineer who can connect these two environments: build load balancing, fault tolerance, and replication.

⚙️ Responsibilities

— Support and development of production infrastructure in the cloud — Deployment and configuration of a bare-metal cluster on Proxmox — Load balancing and replication between cloud and on-prem — Network administration (LAN / VLAN / security) — Configuration and development of backup systems — Development of monitoring and alerting — Participation in CI/CD processes — Infrastructure automation (IaC)

🧠 What's important

Infrastructure and virtualization — Strong experience with Proxmox VE (clusters, HA, migrations) — Understanding of working with bare-metal

Networks and cloud — Experience with PaaS (Kubernetes / Docker Swarm) — LAN / VLAN / firewall / VPN / routing — Load balancing via Cloudflare (LB, Tunnel, WAF)

Linux and automation — Proficient Linux (Debian / Ubuntu / RHEL) — Ansible and/or Terraform (from scratch) — Bash / Python

Monitoring — Zabbix / Grafana / Prometheus / VictoriaMetrics — OpenTelemetry — Alerting configuration

CI/CD — GitLab CI and/or ArgoCD — Understanding of GitOps

Backups — Strategies (3-2-1) — Proxmox Backup Server / Restic / Velero

➕ Bonus points

— Ceph or distributed storage — BGP / anycast / edge-networking — Information Security (audits, compliance)

✨ Conditions

— Strong engineering role with influence on architecture — Minimum bureaucracy — Real infrastructure challenges, not "support for support's sake"
