Hello! I'm Nastya Sycheva, product owner of "Customer Experience" at ggsel — looking for a lead Frontend developer for my team.

Let me tell you a bit about us. ggsel is a marketplace for digital goods, in the top CIS marketplaces since 2017, with over 15 million visitors monthly. Customers choose GGSel for the best prices and excellent support. Over the past year, we have grown 6.5 times and aim to become leaders in digital commerce, as well as conquer the international market.

The product is on the verge of major changes, we are assembling a strong team — guys from Dodo, Yandex.Market, Samokat, and Avito are already with us. We are charged up to rethink the digital goods market and offer you to join this challenge.

You will build and develop the product's frontend platform: architecture, technical standards, reusable modules/components, approaches to state, data, and navigation.

Develop key product modules with a focus on scaling:

• stability,
• predictability of changes,
• team development speed.

What you will be doing:

•Making key technical decisions, conducting design reviews, setting standards (code style, architectural rules, testing strategy), preventing technical debt. •Keeping Core Web Vitals, loading, rendering, bundle, caching, performance on weak devices under control. •Improving observability and reliability - CI/CD, linting/typing, auto-checks, tests, frontend monitoring, errors/performance (sentry/signoz). •Building robust API interaction (contracts, typing, error handling, retries, degradation). •Mentoring developers, improving practices, enhancing review culture, helping the team grow. •Forming documentation, ADRs/documents on key decisions, so that the team doesn't keep the architecture in one person's head. •Supporting the launch of product tests, but in a way that they don't break or cause chaos.

Requirements:

•4 years of development experience, preferably in product teams or startups, speed and flexibility are important. •Excellent knowledge of React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS. •Experience developing with Next.js (starting from v15) •Understanding of client-server architecture. •Confident command of React Query, React Hook Form. •Understanding and experience with REST API. •Writing high-quality code, in accordance with SOLID, YAGNI, DRY principles.

Will be a plus:

•Understanding of FSD principles. •Experience with web sockets.
