Graphic Designer at Ekoniva Group for developing visual concepts for dairy product packaging and scaling designs to new categories while maintaining brand recognition.
Tasks:
- Develop visual concepts for dairy product packaging
- Scale designs to new categories while maintaining brand recognition
- Create and maintain packaging design guidelines (color palette, trapping, safe zones)
- Control color proofs, interact with printing houses (flexographic printing on film and cardboard, offset and gravure printing)
- Adapt layouts for marketplace requirements, considering readability at small sizes
Requirements:
- Higher education in a relevant field (graphic or industrial design)
- 5+ years of experience in food packaging design
- Completed projects for retail (private label or federal brands)
- Knowledge of modern printing technologies: flexography, offset, gravure
- Understanding of trapping, overprints, work with Pantone
- Ability to work with drawings of any complexity, understanding of layout principles for various packaging types (flow pack, doypack, cup, box)
- Knowledge of TR TS 022/2011 requirements for food product labeling: font size, EAC marks, expiration dates
- Portfolio with examples of food packaging design work
