Functional Tester / QA Engineer
Work format: remote possible
☑️ Responsibilities
- participation in processes and solutions of complex and medium tasks
- generating feedback on tasks/functionality/methodologies
- testing the functionality of the company's own software product
- writing test documentation: test cases, test plans, test strategies, test programs and methodologies
- analyzing technical specifications and agreeing on the work plan for current tasks
- preparing a test model for new improvements to information systems
- functional, integration testing, ensuring user testing support
- finding defects and improving the quality of the software product
☑️ Our requirements for candidates
- at least 3 years of experience as a tester
- knowledge of types and levels of testing, test design techniques, test artifacts and metrics
- error localization and bug reporting skills
- experience in writing test cases and test plans, working with a regression model
- knowledge of software engineering basics, software development lifecycle, requirements management
- SQL (at the level of simple DML and DDL operations)
- experience with SOAPUI/POSTMAN tools for working with REST/SOAP, knowledge of JSON/XML; ADO (Azure DevOps)
- experience testing microservice architecture
- experience testing Kafka
Will be a plus:
- experience working in a team using agile methodologies (Safe, Scrum), as well as in a team using a Waterfall software development model
- knowledge of HTML, JSON, XML, CSS, JavaScript, http methods GET, POST, response codes 10X-50X, ability to read response headers and bodies
- knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS traffic monitoring tools (Charles, Fidder, Wireshark)
- knowledge of methods and provision of quality risk control
- knowledge of organizational process maturity standards, testing standards
- knowledge of the principles of operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS, macOS, Linux)
- knowledge of relational databases
- knowledge of standards and methodologies applied to applications
- knowledge of two-tier client-server architecture and three-tier architecture
