Seeking Engineers for the Search Technologies Team for AI Systems
We are building a unified search layer that will be used in a wide variety of products based on language models.
Data can be very diverse: sometimes it's ready-made structured records, sometimes it's documents and plain text, and sometimes information still needs to be extracted, cleaned, and prepared for indexing.
Our task is to ensure that AI systems can quickly find the truly relevant information. In terms of quality, we aim to be on par with the best search solutions, and in terms of development speed, significantly faster than large platform teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop indexing and search engines.
- Work with vector, text, and hybrid search.
- Build distributed data storage and processing systems.
- Improve search speed, quality, and reduce costs.
- Solve fault tolerance and horizontal scaling challenges.
- Work with large volumes of data and high load.
- Create technologies that will be used by other teams and products.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial Python development.
- Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Skills in building distributed systems.
- Knowledge of Linux and containerization.
- Results-oriented and teamwork.
