Looking for an AI Data Engineer

Location: EU Employment Type: full time Duration: longterm English: B2

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines into Snowflake from structured and time series sources
• Transform and prepare ML-ready datasets — feature engineering, windowed aggregations, lag variables, train/test splits
• Develop and operationalise ML models in Python (scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM) within the Snowflake environment using Snowpark
• Write model outputs back into Snowflake for consumption by AI Factory applications and downstream services
• Maintain pipeline and model reliability in production — monitoring, retraining triggers, data quality checks

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong Python — data engineering, ML model development, Snowpark
• Solid Snowflake experience — ingestion patterns, SQL, Streams/Tasks/Snowpipe, basic performance tuning
• Hands-on ML experience — can build, train, and deploy models, not just prepare data for someone else
• Time series experience is a plus — windowed features, irregular series, forecasting models
• Azure Data Lake or Azure Fabric familiarity (nice to have)
