Python Developer for the Analytics Platform Team
About the Team
We are the Avito data warehouse team. We are building a product for creating different types of DWH objects in a "single window." The key qualities of our environment are convenience, efficiency, and fast response.
The product helps users create objects faster, easier, and more safely: check code optimality, run tests, and certify objects.
Our main challenge is to combine user scenarios for creating different objects in the DWH in one place, forming a single entry point for self-service DWH.
You will be responsible for:
- designing and developing a service that combines user scenarios for creating DWH objects;
- understanding the processes of creating different DWH objects, implementing adapters to automate the creation of these objects via a unified API;
- developing and maintaining a GIT API for working with the storage of source code for DWH objects;
- being responsible for the stability of the developed system (monitoring, alerting);
- being responsible for the quality of the developed system: writing unit and integration tests.
We expect you to:
- have at least 4 years of experience in software development, system architecture;
- have Python development experience;
- enjoy research tasks with a high degree of uncertainty and technical complexity;
- be able to take responsibility for decisions made and results;
- plan your project work, setting milestones and coordinating with neighboring teams.
