Middle / Middle+ Backend Developer (Unity, Mobile Game)

We are developing a Visual Novel genre mobile game for iOS and Android. The project is in beta release stage, focused on long-term development and is being developed for the CIS and European audience.

What you will be doing

• Developing and enhancing the backend of a mobile game.
• Designing server architecture and REST API.
• Participating in the design and development of the technical architecture of the backend part of the project.
• Designing the data storage model for game data.
• Developing server-side logic for game mechanics.
• Integrating external services.
• Optimizing and maintaining the server-side of the project.

Who we are looking for A self-sufficient Middle / Middle+ level Backend Developer who:

• has commercial experience in backend development;
• is capable of making engineering decisions and taking responsibility for them;
• knows how to design backend systems and REST API;
• is ready to discuss architectural solutions with the team;
• knows how to work effectively in a small team;
• is interested in the long-term development of the product.

Project Stack Client stack: Unity 6, C#, Mobile Development (iOS / Android), Firebase (Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics), AppsFlyer, AppMetrica, Unity LevelPlay, REST API, JSON, ScriptableObjects, Addressables.

Server stack: Firebase (Firestore, Analytics), other solutions are discussed with the candidate.

Will be an advantage: Docker, Linux, CI/CD, Postman, Swagger / OpenAPI, experience with web projects, administrative panels, frontend development and modern AI tools (GPT, Claude, etc.).
