Solutions Engineer Interns work at the intersection of engineering, data and Pinterest’s advertising and revenue ecosystem. They contribute to scoped technical projects that improve tools, workflows, integrations and support experiences for internal teams, advertisers and partners.
The role offers exposure to real engineering work, cross-functional collaboration and responsible AI-assisted workflows, including applying judgment and verification to AI-supported work. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to see how technology drives customer and business impact. You’ll partner with engineers, data and analytics specialists, product stakeholders and go-to-market teams; learn how ambiguous operational problems become reliable technical solutions; and gain hands-on experience across coding, debugging, data analysis, automation, documentation and system design.

We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
For this role, some interns will work in a hybrid model (commutable distance to one of our offices, with in-person collaboration approximately 1–2 times per week), and some will work fully remote within approved locations. Specific location and work style (hybrid or remote) will be confirmed during the interview and offer process. Office locations available for this role: Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.

The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $7,500 - $9,500 monthly.
