EMCD is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the Mining team (the LATAM location is important for us, as work will be done in UTC-3/UTC-5 time zone). Experience in fintech or the crypto industry will be a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop infrastructure in bare-metal and distributed environments
- Automate configuration and deployment using Ansible
- Support delivery processes and CI
- Work with Docker environment and services on PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, etcd, Kafka, etc.
- Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Participate in incident analysis and service reliability improvement
- Assist development teams with service operation and scaling
Technologies and Stack:
- 3 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or related roles
- Experience with bare-metal (Hetzner, OVH, etc.) and clouds (AWS, DigitalOcean, Vultr)
- Proficient in Ansible and good knowledge of Docker
- Experience supporting services with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, etcd, Kafka
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Loki
- Understanding of networks: TCP/IP, DNS
- Ability to write scripts and utilities in Python or Bash
