We are the Corporate Architecture Department team, building key services and platform solutions. Our goal is to create a reliable, scalable, and technologically advanced product to manage all aspects of the Bank's architecture (and beyond), used by thousands of employees. The system consists of more than 10 subsystems, one of which requires a tech lead.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

Technical Leadership and Development: Lead the technical direction of the team (~10 people) and actively participate in development: write code yourself, create prototypes of complex solutions (APIs, integrations), setting a high bar for quality.

Architecture and Strategy: Design, develop, and advocate for the architecture of your area's services. Participate in shaping the unified technical strategy for solutions, closely collaborating with product managers, system architects, and other tech leads.

Solution Evolution: Initiate and conduct architectural transformations, migrating from a monolith to a modern, fault-tolerant, and scalable microservice architecture.

Quality and Processes: Implement and maintain best development practices: conduct code reviews, foster a culture of automated testing (unit, integration, e2e), optimize CI/CD processes.

Team Development: Mentor developers, assist them in professional growth, share knowledge, and build a strong, cohesive team.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who:

Has a perfect command of the technology stack:

• Java, Spring (Boot, MVC, Data, Security, etc.), Hibernate/JPA.
• PostgreSQL (complex queries, optimization).
• Apache Kafka (or similar message brokers).
• GitLab (including CI/CD).

Has experience:

• Developing and supporting distributed and high-load server applications where reliability and performance are key requirements.
• Making architectural decisions and promoting them within the team.
• Conducting high-quality code reviews and mentoring colleagues.
• Working within agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Possesses critically important personal qualities:

• Leadership: Capable of leading, inspiring, and making responsible decisions.
• Proactivity: Identifies problems independently and proposes solutions.
• Communication: Clearly and concisely conveys ideas to both developers and non-technical specialists.
