🔥 Vacancy: C++ Developer (Ethernet Switch) 📍 Remote (RF) or Office/Hybrid at will

A Russian IT company is looking for an experienced C++ developer to join the network Ethernet switch development team. This is a family of high-performance switches for data centers, supporting hardware-level L2/L3 traffic processing and network virtualization technologies.

Tasks: • Development of proprietary network daemons/services; • Implementation of RFC and IEEE standards; • Development of software for managing the Linux kernel network subsystem; • Development of software for managing the switching chip. Requirements: • C++ development experience of 5+ years (C++20 standard); • Knowledge of network technologies and the TCP/IP stack; • Excellent knowledge of Linux, experience in Linux/Unix development; • Experience with Docker and Git; • Knowledge of routing and network device management protocols (ARP, BGP, BFD, ECMP, FRR, IGP, LACP, STP/RSTP, VLAN, VRRP, VXLAN, etc.); • Skills in diagnosing and analyzing network traffic (ping, traceroute, tcpdump, Wireshark, iperf, etc.); • Experience with traffic generators/analyzers (IXIA, Spirent, Cisco TRex, etc.); • Experience with network emulators (VIRL, Cisco Packet Tracer, GNS3, EVE-NG, etc.)
