A group of companies that is digitizing the process of obtaining driver's licenses. We automate the entire journey of a future driver: from enrolling in a driving school and training to preparing for exams and interacting with relevant authorities. This involves several interconnected IT products — services, websites, and mobile applications — with real users and live load. Job Description: We are bringing development in-house and building a strong internal team. We already have front-end, back-end, and DevOps — we need a technical leader who will take over project acceptance and set the engineering bar. We are looking for: — 3+ years in development, experience in tech leadership (informal is acceptable) — strong back-end skills in TypeScript / Node.js (NestJS, Fastify/Express). Python is a big plus, as it's the primary language for some products — real-world experience with high loads: identifying bottlenecks and how to fix them — a solid foundation in databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data under load — understanding of infrastructure and operations (Docker, CI/CD, cloud, Kubernetes basics) — ability to mentor and analyze existing legacy code

What you will do: — take over projects from an external contractor: code, infrastructure, deployment — to ensure everything works without them — be responsible for the architecture and quality of the back-end (TypeScript/Node, Python in some areas) — maintain and develop high-load services — mentor the team and participate in hiring — collaborate with product management: planning, risks, deadlines

Employment according to the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Conditions and salary range are discussed based on grade.
