🔥 Motion Designer / Video Editor (Steam & Game Trailers) We are looking for an editor / motion designer who can turn game art, gameplay, and visual assets into strong trailers for Steam, social media, and project presentations. We provide art, materials, references, and tasks — and expect neat motion, strong editing, and a video that feels like an integral part of the game.
🦾 What you'll be doing Creating videos: trailers, teasers, announcements, and updates for Steam and social media (including social cutdowns). Bringing 2D art to life: parallax, working with camera, layers, lighting, particles, and atmospheric effects. Working with storytelling and rhythm: building dynamics, setting the pace, editing to music, and basic sound design. Generating ideas: discussing references with the art director and producer, and proposing solutions to achieve a top-tier visual quality.
🔎 Who we are looking for Experience in creating game videos, trailers, cinematic/gameplay videos, or similar entertainment content. Understanding of trailer structure: hook in the first seconds, feature showcase, atmosphere, gameplay readability, final CTA. Ability to work with existing assets (art, UI, characters, environment, gameplay) and assemble them into a cohesive story that feels "premium". High level of industry awareness (Steam Next Fest, indie showcases, game presentations).
📋 Tech Stack and Skills Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. Excellent sense of composition, shot dynamics, and editing rhythm. Understanding of Steam platform specifications and visual communication.
✨ Conditions Format: Remote. Employment: Project-based, but with a long-term collaboration perspective. Review stages: test task and interview.
