An international technology company with distributed engineering teams is looking for a Senior .NET Engineer (Blazor) to join a large-scale digital transformation program for a leading US insurance corporation.

About the Role

You'll become part of a growing engineering team responsible for modernizing multiple enterprise systems, migrating functionality from legacy technologies, and developing new solutions using the modern Microsoft technology stack.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working with an existing codebase while building new functionality and contributing to the evolution of the system architecture.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and implement new functionality using C# and Blazor.
• Analyze the existing C# codebase and business logic.
• Refactor and migrate functionality from MS Access to modern .NET solutions.
• Develop new features based on business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to clarify requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and solve technical challenges.
• Conduct code reviews.
• Execute releases.
• Communicate directly with the client in English via email, messaging platforms, and daily meetings.

Project

You'll join a large-scale digital transformation initiative for a major US insurance company. The project combines new feature development with modernization of an existing system, including analysis of the current implementation, refactoring, and migration of selected components to a modern technology stack.

Technology Stack

C# / .NET / Blazor / SQL Server / SQL / MS Access / HTML / Git / Git Flow

GitHub Copilot will be available to help developers analyze the existing codebase more efficiently and accelerate development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with .NET development.
• Strong expertise in C#.
• Hands-on experience with Blazor.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Experience working with existing codebases and refactoring legacy systems.
• Knowledge of Git and Git Flow.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to independently own tasks from requirements through release.
• Excellent communication skills.
• English level B2+.

Development Process

• Scrum.

Onboarding

The onboarding process consists of two stages:

• Company onboarding covering internal processes, tools, and corporate policies.
• Project onboarding introducing the client's business processes, system architecture, and project documentation.
