QA Automation Engineer (Python, API + UI / Playwright)

🚀 Inwizo is looking for a QA Automation Engineer (Python, API + UI / Playwright)

We are a technology company creating payment and fintech solutions for businesses. We work with high-load systems, distributed architecture, and complex business logic.

❗ EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A PAYMENT COMPANY IS MANDATORY — PSP, PAYMENT AGGREGATOR OR PROCESSING COMPANY. EXPERIENCE ONLY IN BANKS DOES NOT COUNT.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain API, integration, and UI automated tests. • Check system status using data in PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch. • Collaborate with developers: clarify business logic and expected system behavior. • Develop the test framework and CI in GitLab. • Participate in code reviews and maintain test documentation.

What's important:

• Proficient Python 3.12+: typing, dataclasses, context managers. • Deep knowledge of pytest: fixtures, scopes, hooks, parametrization, conftest.py. • Experience testing REST APIs with httpx, understanding idempotency and asynchronous callbacks. • Playwright for Python: locators, assertions with waits, browser contexts, storage_state, traces, and screenshots. • Proficient SQL: SELECT, JOIN, aggregate functions. • Git and GitLab: branches, MR, rebase, reading CI configuration. • Allure: steps, attachments, dynamic labels, report generation, and analysis. • Fluent Russian and English from B1.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Grafana. • Ability to read code in Go and Lua. • Experience using WireMock, Mountebank, or other stub servers. • Support for large sets of autotests — from 1000 tests per microservice. • Working with AI agents, including setting up your own environment and tools for them.
