Senior GCP Data Engineer (Remote)
A German product company - a marketplace for selling SOURCE merchandise - is looking for a Senior GCP Data Engineer to develop a modern cloud-native data platform.
Work format - fully remote.
We consider candidates who are citizens of Ukraine currently residing in European countries.
Main Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of Data Pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
- Building and developing ELT processes.
- Working with BigQuery as the primary analytics platform.
- Development and maintenance of integrations between internal and external systems.
- Development of Cloud Functions.
- Working with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Working with Python to build services and integrations.
- Building, optimizing, and maintaining data models.
- Working with Airflow or Dagster for process orchestration.
- Collaborating with the business team to implement new solutions.
Mandatory Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
- In-depth commercial experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Solid experience with BigQuery.
- Solid Python programming experience.
- Experience with Terraform.
- Practical experience in building ELT processes.
- Experience with dbt.
- Experience with Airflow or Dagster.
- Experience in developing production Data Pipelines.
- Understanding of modern data platform architecture.
- Experience interacting with business clients.
- High level of independence and responsibility.
Will be an advantage
- Experience with Google Cloud Functions.
- Experience with Pub/Sub.
- Experience with Cloud Storage.
- Experience with Looker Studio.
- Experience in e-commerce or ERP projects.
- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification.
English - fluent conversational level (Upper-Intermediate +).
