Monite is a fintech infrastructure startup that helps B2B SaaS products automate invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and embedded finance through an API-first platform. The company is actively scaling in the European and American markets and building a modern cloud-native architecture.
Responsibilities
- Development and support of backend services in Java/Kotlin.
- Design of high-load REST/gRPC APIs.
- Work with microservice architecture and event-driven systems.
- Integration of payment and banking APIs.
- Performance optimization of PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Development of fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Participation in code reviews and architectural discussions.
- Collaboration with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Commercial Java development experience of 5+ years.
- Spring Boot / Spring Cloud.
- PostgreSQL, Redis.
- Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- English language B2+/C1
Will be a big plus:
- Kotlin.
- Experience in fintech/payments.
- Experience with high-load systems.
- Terraform / IaC.
- GraphQL/gRPC.
