VACANCY: Senior OpenStack DevOps / SRE Engineer (Outstaff)

We are looking for a Senior OpenStack DevOps / SRE Engineer with production expertise in managing large clusters (50+ physical nodes). The work is structured as outstaffing: you will join the client's team as a full-time team lead/lead specialist, participating in 24/7 operations, infrastructure development, and architectural decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES: — Operation and support of OpenStack clusters (SLA 99.99%) — Troubleshooting and service recovery (P0/P1 incidents) — Performance tuning, upgrades, migrations (VMware/Hyper-V → OpenStack) — Networking (OVS/OVN, BGP/EVPN, DPDK) and Ceph (CRUSH, RBD, CephFS) — Automation with Ansible, Terraform, Python/Bash — CI/CD for infrastructure, monitoring (Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics/ELK) — Participation in SRE processes: SLO/SLI, capacity planning, HA, post-mortem — Mentoring middle/junior engineers, code review

REQUIREMENTS: ✔️ 5–7+ years in DevOps / SRE / system administration ✔️ 3+ years with OpenStack in production (preferably clusters of 50+ physical servers) ✔️ Deep Linux knowledge: RHEL/Ubuntu/Debian, kernel tuning, systemd, cgroups, SELinux ✔️ KVM/QEMU/libvirt: NUMA, CPU pinning, hugepages, SR-IOV, PCI passthrough ✔️ OpenStack: Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone, Placement — full understanding of architecture, upgrades, and migrations ✔️ Networking: OVS/OVN, VXLAN/VLAN/Geneve, BGP/EVPN, DPDK, diagnostics of flow tables, conntrack, iptables/nftables ✔️ Ceph: CRUSH, OSD/MON/MDS, performance optimization, integration with Cinder/Glance ✔️ Ansible, Terraform, Python/Bash, CI/CD for infrastructure ✔️ Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, ELK/EFK/Loki ✔️ Docker/Kubernetes (CNI/CSI), experience running k8s on top of OpenStack ✔️ Experience with P0/P1 incidents, on-call, root-cause analysis, post-mortem, runbooks ✔️ Understanding of SRE: SLO/SLI/SLA, capacity planning, HA, security ✔️ Experience in mentoring and tech leadership
