Independent M&A team seeking an Investment Analyst
The team handles buy/sell-side deals, asset management, and special situations projects. No industry focus is required.
Responsibilities: • Data collection for company and industry analysis; • Financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and valuation; • Preparation of presentations/memoranda for internal and external company purposes; • Participation in the due diligence process; • Other analytical support for the team.
Key Requirements: • Relevant finance experience – 1-2 years (investment banking, private equity and venture capital funds, BIG4 (corporate finance), strategic consulting firms); • Bachelor's/Master's degree from a leading Russian or international university with a focus on mathematics/economics/physics; • High motivation and ability to work overtime; • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, erudition; • Punctuality and ability to meet deadlines while multitasking; • Deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial modeling (CFA, ACCA, CAIA are a plus); • Fluency in English.
