Technical Lead (Go/Backend) — Playrix

🎮 Playrix is one of the most successful mobile game development companies in the world.

We are looking for a strong Technical Lead who will develop Go expertise within the Game Platform team, improve the technical quality of the product (including strategy and architecture), and lead key product and engineering initiatives at the department level. Game Platform develops universal backend services for Playrix games — from services required by any product (such as push notifications and GDPR-compliant user data processing) to game features: matchmaking, player profiles, clans, and anti-cheat systems.

📌 Responsibilities:

• Leading product and technical initiatives at the department level: gathering requirements, interacting with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, developing solutions, decomposing and estimating tasks, bringing initiatives to completion.
• Designing service architecture according to product requirements.
• Managing the technical quality of the product: defining strategy and vision, prioritizing tasks, planning.
• Managing tools and technologies within the team.

📌 Tech Stack:

Golang, AWS, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, Kinesis, k8s, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana.

📌 Requirements:

• 6+ years in backend development, including 3+ years with Go (designing and developing services from scratch).
• 1+ year of experience in a similar role: Tech Lead / Team Lead / Engineering Manager.
• Experience in developing high-load projects (average load on our services is 100k+ RPS).
• Experience in architecture design: creating services, describing database schemas.
• Ensuring high code quality through unit and integration testing.
