The "ADM GLOBAL" group of companies is a young, rapidly growing, active team that became the first among private companies in the automotive business to import foreign car brands into Uzbekistan.
As part of the digital transformation of the "ADM GLOBAL" group of companies, an IT company is creating a centralized department responsible for the development and support of all group projects.
We are now looking for a Backend Developer (Java) to develop and evolve high-load server solutions, business services, and integrations with internal and external systems.
🎯 Responsibilities:
- Development and support of server logic in Java (Spring/Spring Boot).
- Design and implementation of REST/HTTP API for interaction with the frontend and external services (banks, myID, 1C).
- Implementation of reliable integrations: task queues, webhook processing, retries/idempotency, delivery confirmation.
- Work with DB (Postgres) — schema design, query optimization, migrations.
- Ensuring transactional integrity when processing applications and calculating commissions.
- Configuration of logging, monitoring, and metrics (observability) for production services.
- Writing unit/integration tests, participating in code reviews, and maintaining code quality.
- Participation in task estimation, release planning, and interaction with product, integration, and DevOps teams.
- Rapid incident response and participation in the investigation of production issues.
✅ Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Java 8+ development.
- Practical experience with Spring Boot (REST, Spring Data, Spring Security).
- Experience in API design and development (REST/JSON); knowledge of OpenAPI is mandatory.
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres/MySQL): writing complex queries, indexes, migrations (Flyway/Liquibase).
- Experience with queues/messaging (RabbitMQ/Kafka) and implementation of retry/backoff/idempotency.
- Skills in working with containers (Docker) and general understanding of CI/CD (GitLab CI/GitHub Actions).
- Knowledge of web service security principles (JWT/OAuth, PII encryption).
- Skill in writing tests (JUnit, Mockito) and code review practice.
- Ability to read and write technical documentation in English/Russian.
