We're hiring a Senior Rust Engineer for a 12+ month, full-time (40h/week) remote contract. Backend-heavy role (Rust) with some React on the side.

What you'll do: 🔹 Build & maintain production-grade Rust apps (Axum/Actix/Warp) 🔹 Design distributed systems, APIs, microservices 🔹 Write and optimize complex SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) 🔹 Deploy on Kubernetes, own observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OTel, Jaeger) 🔹 Mentor junior engineers, contribute to React frontend when needed

Must-have: ✅ 5+ years commercial Rust (ownership, lifetimes, traits, async) ✅ Strong backend + SQL skills ✅ K8s & containerized apps experience ✅ CI/CD, testing, monitoring/observability tools ✅ Solid English communication
