Data Light** is an IT company that helps leading technology giants create and train artificial intelligence systems. Our data collection and annotation projects form the basis of modern neural networks – from computer vision to complex ML models.
We are currently looking for a Junior Python Developer who is interested not just in writing code, but in working at the intersection of Python, Data Engineering, and AI.
We don't need a perfect candidate with years of experience. We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in programming, who is not afraid of new challenges, and wants to grow with the team.
Responsibilities
- work with data annotation tools: create projects, upload and download data, configure processes;
- prepare, clean, validate, and convert data in CSV, JSON, XLSX, XML formats, as well as work with archives and other data structures;
- download, process, and analyze metadata;
- enrich data using AI tools;
- automate repetitive processes and routine operations;
- write Python scripts for data loading and processing, report generation, file renaming, annotation conversion, and statistics collection;
- work with APIs and SDKs: study documentation, send requests, process responses and errors;
- develop bots, configure AI agents, and use modern AI tools to solve practical problems;
- participate in new and non-standard projects, search for engineering solutions, and improve existing team processes.
We Expect
- solid knowledge of Python and understanding of clean code principles;
- experience with Git, SQL, pandas, APIs, and various data formats (CSV, JSON, XLSX, XML);
- ability to understand other people's code;
- interest in AI and modern development tools.
Will be a plus:
- experience with FastAPI or Django, Docker, Kubernetes, S3, Apache Airflow or Prefect;
- use of AI agents in development;
- pet projects and an active GitHub profile.
For us, the initiative, independence, responsibility, and genuine interest in development and AI are more important than the number of years of experience.
We Offer

- probation period — 3 months (40,000 ₽ net);
- after the probation period — 55,000–60,000 ₽ net + quarterly bonus based on performance;
