We are seeking a Front-End Developer to implement and optimize the user-facing features of our gaming platform. You will translate product specifications and design files into high-quality, maintainable code, ensure responsive and accessible interfaces, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reusable UI components and pages using JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular).
- Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), and preprocessors (Sass, Less).
- Integrate front-end code with backend APIs (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets) to display dynamic in-game data.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and high performance across devices.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) to uphold code quality and reliability.
- Optimize asset loading, bundle sizes, and runtime performance to deliver smooth user interactions.
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipeline configurations, and version control workflows (Git).
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to refine requirements and troubleshoot UI/UX issues.
Required Knowledge and Qualifications
- 3+ years of front-end development experience, ideally on consumer-facing or gaming products.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with at least one modern framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design techniques, and CSS preprocessors.
- Familiarity with build tools and module bundlers (Webpack, Rollup, or similar) and package managers (npm, Yarn).
- Experience consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs and handling real-time data via WebSockets.
- Knowledge of state management solutions (Redux, Vuex, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and semantic HTML.
- Experience with unit/integration testing frameworks and test-driven development practices.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams and using collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed environment.
