We are looking for a Ruby developer for our team
Responsibilities
- decomposition and estimation of task implementation deadlines;
- writing program code and unit/integration tests that comply with the standards and agreements adopted in the organization and implement the requirements specified in the tasks;
- optimization of the existing codebase in terms of compliance with adopted standards and performance requirements;
- conducting code reviews;
- compiling technical documentation;
- monitoring the delivery of functionality to the production environment and supporting implemented business processes;
- participation in team events for task estimation and workflow optimization.
Requirements
- understanding of the fundamentals of algorithms, data structures, OOP principles;
- excellent knowledge of Ruby and Ruby on Rails languages, with at least 2 years of commercial development experience in this stack;
- understanding of relational DBMS principles, approaches to data storage, ability to write and read SQL, analyze query execution processes;
- understanding of REST API construction principles, experience in writing API servers and/or clients;
- experience in writing tests (RSpec);
- ability to work with GNU/Linux distributions, Docker / Docker Compose, CI/CD systems;
- knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals;
- ability to see tasks through to completion.
