REMOTE GLOBAL / ASIA / THAILAND | MiOON
Our project is a startup "MiOON," based in Phuket (Thailand). We are developing our own product — an aggregator (for rent / for sale) of commercial real estate, ready businesses, land plots, and villas.
We are looking for a frontend developer for the early stage of the product — someone who can create a fast, clean, maintainable interface and understands how to build an MVP without unnecessary complexity.
Let us clarify an important point right away: this is not a short-term project or a role "just for the MVP." We are looking for someone for the long haul — after launch, you will need to further develop the product, release new versions, and strengthen the frontend part of the system.
What we have now
- The project is in the preparation stage for MVP
- The product structure, roles, personal accounts, and listings are being formed
- The frontend is being built as the core of the product, not as a temporary solution
- Multilingual interface (three languages), mobile-first, catalog with filters and geo-search, multi-step listing creation form, personal account, admin panel for moderation
- AI/LLM tools are an integral part of the team's workflow, not an "experiment"
What you will do
Main product frontend — Development of the frontend using Next.js / React / TypeScript — Integration with backend API — Implementation of key scenarios: catalog, listing details, personal account, listing creation form, moderation
Catalog, filtering, multilingualism — Filters, sorting, navigation, geo-search — Adaptive and multilingual interface (three languages) — Handling states (loading / error / empty / success), edge cases in UX
Architecture, tests, SEO — Maintaining a clean architecture of components and a component library with shadcn/ui — Covering critical user flows with e2e tests — SEO aspects: meta tags, OpenGraph, structured data, hreflang, sitemap
Teamwork and releases — Collaboration with designers and backend developers, discussing API contracts — Working with the CTO and bringing tasks to production
Working with AI/LLM tools — Using AI assistants (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, v0, and similar) when writing components, forms, typing, tests — Formulating tasks for neural networks correctly and validating their results, especially regarding TypeScript types and accessibility — Applying LLM for generating Storybook stories, Playwright tests, JSDoc documentation with manual refinement — Identifying where AI saves hours and where it produces garbage (especially in non-trivial typing and complex forms)
Our stack
- Next.js
- React
- TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
- shadcn/ui
- TanStack Query
- React Hook Form
- Zod
- Playwright (e2e), Vitest (unit)
- next-intl (multilingualism)
- Vercel
- AI/LLM tools in the workflow (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
What we expect you to know
- Confidently work with React
- Have practical experience with Next.js (preferably App Router)
- Have a good understanding of TypeScript
- Confidently work with HTML / CSS and adaptive layouts
- Have experience with Tailwind CSS
- Understand working with APIs, forms, and interface states
- Create fast, understandable, and maintainable UI
- Actively use AI/LLM tools in your work and understand their strengths and weaknesses
Will be a plus
- Experience with TanStack Query, React Hook Form, Zod
- Experience with shadcn/ui and component libraries based on Radix
- Experience with catalogs, marketplaces, classifieds / CRM interfaces
- Experience with maps, filters, and SEO-friendly pages
- Experience with multilingual interfaces (next-intl, react-intl), especially with non-Latin scripts
- Experience optimizing Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) on real projects
- Experience with e2e tests using Playwright
- Experience working in a small product team or startup
- Your own established workflow with AI assistants that you are willing to share with the team
- English proficiency at the level of reading technical documentation
How work will be structured
- Tasks are assigned directly within the product team
- Lots of direct communication, minimal bureaucracy
- Independence is important: you need to not only write code but also see the problem in its entirety
- Collaboration with the CTO, designer, and backend developers
- AI/LLM is a working tool for the team, not a restriction or a workaround
What we offer
- Fully remote work
- Direct influence on the product at an early stage
- Clear stack without exotic technologies
- Payments twice a month
- Opportunity to grow into a key frontend engineer for the product
Who we are definitely not looking for
- Those who can only lay out designs without understanding the product
- Those who don't maintain the quality of adaptive and interface design
- Those who cannot independently bring tasks to completion
- Those who combine multiple jobs or projects
- Those who fundamentally reject AI/LLM in their work
