Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of models for a production environment;
- Build machine learning models, improve forecast quality;
- Engage in analytics and hypothesis testing;
- Develop tools for conducting A/B tests;
- Write code, conduct code reviews;
- Propose methods for optimizing and improving existing tools.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Python (Scala/Java may be a plus);
- Knowledge of classic algorithms and data structures;
- Knowledge of theoretical and practical advanced machine learning methods;
- Knowledge of SQL, familiarity with the Hadoop stack (middle-level candidates should understand what a query plan looks like and what happens "under the hood");
- A/B tests, generation and testing of hypotheses (experience with variance reduction, CUPED, linearization, and bucket methods will be a plus);
- Experience with (docker, kubernetes, pyspark, kafka, postgres, airflow);
- Experience in deploying developed solutions to production.
